The existing process for preparing Title Grant submissions was a significant operational bottleneck. It relied on extensive manual labor across dozens of Google Sheets, including:

  • Tedious Formatting: Manually applying specific formats and formulas to each sheet individually.

  • Error-Prone Validation: Conducting manual cross-checks and data validation, which was time-consuming and susceptible to human error.

  • Cumbersome Exports: A slow, repetitive process of individually exporting each required report into a PDF format for submission.

This workflow would take several days to complete for each grant cycle, consuming valuable resources and carrying a high risk of inconsistencies.

To solve these issues, I engineered a robust suite of interconnected Google App Scripts that automated the entire workflow from start to finish. The solution provided a simple, user-friendly custom menu directly within Google Sheets to trigger complex actions.
